[CHILDREN CHEERING] [MUSIC PLAYING] (SINGING) Sometimes we have thoughts that are trying to bring us down. They might have US feeling, blue but it doesn't mean they're true. If the bully in your head says you're not smart, we say, oh no, that's not right. I know numbers, I know numbers,  [SINGING IN SPANISH],, and colors, too. Look at all the things I've learned to do. I'm proud-- I'm proud-- [SINGING IN SPANISH]  --of how I practice every day-- --of how I practice every day-- [SINGING IN SPANISH] --to fight  the bully in my head --to fight the bully in my head by treating myself how I would treat a really good friend. Being patient, being kind when a bad thought comes to mind. I can change it-- [SINGING IN SPANISH] --into  something that feels right. --into something that feels right. Sometimes we need to investigate. Put our detective skills to the test. Those thoughts, where are they coming from, and can we prove them wrong? If the bully in your head says something mean, we say, I'm sorry, I disagree. I am kind-- I am kind-- [SINGING IN SPANISH]  --and capable, too. --and capable, too. Look at all the things I've learned to do. Sleepy Sound Breath

Sleepy sound breath. Sometimes it's easy to slow down and rest. Sometimes it's not. You might have a hard time resting if your body is moving fast or your brain is busy thinking. We all get that way. For those times, we can try this practice to help slow down on the inside. To settle and rest and even sleep. Sleepy sound breath. Sometimes our bodies can feel pretty busy. Let's move a little first. And then we'll breathe in a special way that makes a special sound. A sleepy sound. Find a spot to sit down. Here we go. Hands go up, up. Maybe arms reach, reach, reach, and then they ease down. Arms are floating so slowly down. Now here comes the sleepy sound. This time when arms go down and we breathe out, there's a sound. Ahhhhhh. Cool, right? Breathe in with no sound. Raise your hands. Breathe in and in. Ahhhhhh. There's our sleepy sound. Ahhhhhhh. Breathe in to reach up again. Ahhhhhh. And if it's a sleepy sound, it might even get quieter as we slow down. So reach up. Breathe in, in, in, whisper. Ahhhhhhh. Ahhhhhhh. Ahhhhhhh. Yeah. And maybe if you can lean back or even lay down, do that. You could reach your hands toward the ceiling and then your arms come down with the sound to rest. Try it. Breathing in, reach up. Breathing out, whisper again. Ahhhhhhh all the way down. Ahhhhhhh. Once more. Breathe in, up. Whisper. Ahhhhhhh. Arms floating down. Ahhhhhhh. We're using our bodies. We're using our slow breathing. And we're making a special sound to feel less busy, so that we can rest. Sleepy sound breath. Ahhhhhhh.

Washing Your Hands (en Español)

Washing Your Hands

[MUSIC PLAYING] Yayy! To wash our hands, this is what we'll need. A little water, little soap, and a song to sing to stay healthy and stay clean When we get home from the park and before we eat. Sing with me and I'll show you how it's done. Promise you, it won't be long! It'll take 20 seconds on the clock. After the chorus, we'll be done! Let's put our hands in the water, then we pour some soap. Rub them against each other, scrubbing front and back, in between the fingers, don't forget the thumbs. Now we rinse with soap. After, dry them when we're done. Now our hands are clean, are clean. Doesn't it feel good to have our hands so clean? To wash our hands, this Is what we'll need. Getting ready-- To create shapes. Before we get started, take a deep breath because we're moving around. We are tracing shapes. Any part of your body. Your elbow foot or hand. Your hips, your eyes, your shoulders. With whatever you want. Your body is a paintbrush. We're drawing in the air. Follow me. At the count of three, let's make a circle. Like the sun. Like the moon. Let's make a square like a picture frame. Now a triangle. Like a slice of pizza. Hearts and stars everywhere. Everywhere. Let's make a circle. Like the sun. Like the moon. Let's make a square.
